My journey started because the home inspector said the underground foundation requires little attention. I googled many water proofers and found this company review the highest and no complaint found. I have called the number and they came over to gave me a quote. During the inspection, they recognized the issue and found that the wrong material membrane (interior type used, not exterior type) and wrong installation was done previously. They explained that the previous method should not be used since it can create multiple cracks to the foundation. He also said that this current method is popular on YouTube because its easy and cheap. I'm not a professional on this, but am a professional in my field and I do hate YouTube's "Standard". The major difference was, previously the membrane was "Nailed in" and for best result,... should be drilled and then screwed in. Which makes sense. On the day of appointment, 2 guys arrived and started their work. They covered the grass area with tarp and started digging. By late morning there was a trench and by evening they were burying. 2 guys took 2 days to do 2 walls. Professional And Accountable
I had Edko waterproof majority of the perimeter around my home. Also had a sump pump installed. Like many reviewers have already said, I was very pleased with their work and accountability. One example really stood out for me: After their work was done and I already paid the invoice, I noticed that one corner of the house (where they dug up and re-soiled) had collapsed due to heavy rain and a small sinkhole was created. I called Edko back just to get some advice, and without even being asked, they sent their guys to fill the hole with more soil later in the week. This level of accountability and character exceeded my expectations, and I very much appreciated it.
Basement Underpinning
We are about 1/2 way through our renovation, the underpinning is now complete, giving us 8′ ceilings in our formerly 6′ basement. Edgar and his team have been fantastic. They have been honest with us all the way through, never promising something that couldn’t be done. They completed the work on budget (AMAZING) and only about a week later than originally discussed, but that was because they discovered some issues once everything was exposed… we consider it on time as well. The team was very hard-working and showed up every day without fail. If we had questions, Edgar was always available to speak to us and also came to the house on a number of occasions to check on progress. Edgar was also very responsive to a few minor problems that occurred and had the issues resolved same or next day. I would recommend Edko with no hesitation.
Waterproofing
I found this company online while researching waterproofing experts. They were amazing. Firstly, i called later Friday and Vlad came on Saturday and gave a detailed written quote on the spot. Then they handled all the work to get the property marked by the city (which was done very quickly). The work was done in just over a day and the workers done a great job. They laid out tarps for the dirty, they followed all the steps explained to me and it was done with quality. They also went above and beyond and installed 2 new downspout extenders to ensure the water from 2 downspouts was pushed further away from the foundation. This company did a great job and id highly recommend them to anyone.

Main Water Pipe Repair
Edko replaced my leaking water pipe which was located under the basement floor. The plumber that came was very professional and explained everything to me. It started out with 1 hole in the pipe to 5 separate holes and about a 12 foot pipe replacement. The cost they quoted me was fair and accurate. We experienced severe water and sewage backups and needed a completely new basement. Edgar did everything including demo of existing damaged concrete floor, new waterproofing, proper drainage, updated plumbing and rough-ins, and poured new concrete.
All of this and they were in and out in just 6 days!

Edgar from Edko responded quickly to our request for a consultation and quote. His quote was competitive, he seemed very knowledgeable and we appreciated his honesty when he suggested that we shouldn’t waterproof the entire wall as it may not be necessary. He booked us a date for the work and his crew showed up on time and did a fabulous job. They waterproofed outside and installed a sump pump inside. They were efficient and, inside, covered our basement furniture with tarps to avoid getting it dusty, which was considerate. Edgar also helped us apply for the city rebate on sump pumps. Edko came to me recommended from a friend, and I will not hesitate to recommend Edko to others.
Outside Foundation Repair
One area of my basement had been leaking on and off for years but only if there was a heavy downpour. Edko’s crew found the leaking area (outside), sealed and repaired it, giving a 25 year warranty. So far the basement has remained dry but the test will be seen in the future/after several downpours at which time I will post another review.
Edko’s estimate/final price was considerably lower than other companies I contacted.

Edgar came and assessed my situation and recommended external waterproofing. I had seepage during heaving rains and it was worse after the winter thaw.
I chose Edgar because he walked me through the process and from my research, his company used the best practices being implemented at this this time. His crew was polite and kept the work site clean. The workmanship was great and looked very clean against my wall.

As about my experience, Edgar showed up despite heavy rain to measure the area and was quick to send a quote. His quote was quite competitive with what I had received from others. I also read excellent reviews they had on HomeStars before giving him the job.
After receiving the locates from hydro company, his guys showed up promptly. They dug the area, sealed the basement exterior, filled, relevelled and cleaned the whole area nicely in 2 days. Everything was done quick and professionally.
Edgar later came to provide me 25 years guarantee certificate on leak proofing. On my request, he even went out of the way to take away and dispose these two large rotting drywalls standing next to my sidewall from a previous construction project. I am so thankful to him for that.

Called EdKo Enterprises after dealing with an ongoing slow leak in the basement. The best solution in our case was to trench weepers in the basement to control the flow of the water directly to the sump pump pit.
After dealing with alot of stress Edgar and his team were with us every step of the way. Coming out to see us to diagnose the problem to providing a written well detailed quote so we knew exactly what we were getting. Bathroom Renovation
We hired Edko Enterprise to complete plumbing work for bathroom renovation at our house. The work involved relocation of the bathtub, introduction of the shower, and two sinks (instead of one). The job was very time sensity, as we have small kids, and we were afraid that the work will take too long. I found out that we have a leak in our basement but could not locate it as our basement is finished. I called couple of companies and all of them kind of pointed in same general direction but could not actually pin point the crack or water source. Our original basement window wells were shallow and crumbling. EDKO had done waterproofing, sump pump installation and sewer lateral replacement for us this past year (and helped us apply for the City of Markham rebates), so I called Edgar for an estimate.
